During the day, I took a portable easel out into the desert to catch some peace and quiet and to put some impressions onto canvas. I used a car as a windbreak, but still, there is a lot of fine sand in the paint. The desert is beige and the sky expansive and blue until evening. The buzz of the festival is in stark contrast to the simplicity of the desert. The primary colors and feel of my experience are reflected here.
